BioCare Nutrisorb Trace Minerals provides the trace minerals required by the body for good health - chromium, selenium, molybdenum, boron and manganese. While these are typically found in small levels within the body, they nevertheless play a vital role in the body, including joint and bone health.

Manganese is necessary for the development of sex hormones, healthy bones and joints, and aids blood sugar metabolism. It helps to prevent problems that occur in the body, specifically with regards to mental retardation, problems with the reproductive system and in the congenital area.

Boron supports the maintenance and general health of the connective tissues and skeletal system, has potent antioxidant properties and helps maintain a healthy heart. Boron may also improve the body’s ability to absorb calcium and magnesium, treat arthritis, aid the production of oestrogen, and may reduce congestive heart failure conditions.

Chromium is essential for the metabolism of carbohydrates and regulates the metabolism of blood sugar, thereby deterring diabetes. It helps control and stabilise the cholesterol and lipid levels in the blood, and may help prevent high blood pressure.
